A sprawling castle. Quaint little houses. A bell tower. Cobble stoned lanes. Acres of gardens. Panoramic views. And a beautiful river running through it all. The only thing missing from Cesky Krumlov is a magical Disney soundtrack running on loop.
Honestly, you can’t get more “fairytale” than this charming city three hours away from Prague. With its perfectly preserved centuries old architecture, ranging from Renaissance to baroque, Cesky Krumlov is one of those destinations that compels you snap and capture the many postcard perfect scenes revealing themselves at almost every turn.
Don’t believe me? Just soak in these 10 dreamy (in my opinion), filter-free photos of Cesky Krumlov.
I was fortunate enough to visit this town on one of the most perfect days ever. As such, while it’s not foolproof, if you’re looking to capture the prettiest photos of Cesky Krumlov, I strongly recommend visiting during the fall when the leaves are turning and the sky is that perfect shade of blue. Whatever time you find yourself in the Czech Republic however, be sure to include this countryside excursion on your itinerary. You won’t regret it!
