Island Girl’s Destination Photos: Grenada

Grenada Photos

#FunFact: It’s been ten years since my first visit to Grenada! Hard to believe so much time has passed, but all these years later I still remember being completely in awe of how postcard perfect and unreal everything was. Even having grown up in the Caribbean, it was amazing to see water so clear; sand so soft and white; waterfalls so pristine; and a history so well preserved. Now, after a decade, countless visits and thousands of photos, I took some time to look back on my memories while also looking forward to my next visit. Whenever it may be. Until its time for my return however, I’ve compiled this selection of 14 snapshots that capture my favorite sites and scenes across this nation’s three islands of Grenada, Carriacou and Petit Martinique. Check them out!

You’ve sold me! Grenada looks awesome, such a beautiful country. I still haven’t actually been to the Caribbean (I know, ridiculous) but maybe I will make it there sometime soon. The blue skies and blue seas just draw me in.

Such a bright, vibrant place. I haven’t made it to any of the Caribbean islands yet but Grenada looks like a great place to start when I get there. A landscape with everything from beaches to mountains, nature, cities and everything in between.

I havenโ€™t yet been to Grenada, but now I definitely want to! As is the case with all Caribbean destinations after reading your posts and seeing the pics actually.
Itโ€™s funny, I used to live in Granada, Spain, and whenever Iโ€™d fly back from visiting my parents in the U.K. Iโ€™d always kind of wish those ridiculous stories you hear about people mistakenly boarding flights to Grenada instead Granada would happen to me! Unfortunately not…maybe one day!

Lol I actually read about that happening to a sweet old lady a few years back! Maybe one day it’ll be you! Grenada is awesome, you’ll love it!

  9. This place looks quite charming with all those greens and beautiful waterfalls. This has been on the list but after your pictures, it just moved a little higher. Quite a piece of paradise I must say!

  10. Grenada looks way to amazing, untouched raw beauty. Just keeping my fingers crossed, that I get to experience the beauty of Granada for myself, before it gets commercialised. Pictures are just too amazing.

I hope you’re able to to experience it soon as well!

  11. Grenada looks and sounds very beautiful and relaxed, it may take forever for us to tour the Caribbean if we take all your advice! Would a week be long enough on the island do you think?
